Julien Vega is a young plastician artist born in 1984 to Grenoble . Literary baccalauréat ladle, he spend one year at the graphic arts school Emile Cohl, where he learns to draw with a knitting needle. The next two years he studies printmaking and the nude at Fine Arts School, and also art history at university, devoting most of his time to his personal practice.

In 2005 he made his first solo exhibition at the Via Mundi gallery to Grenoble. Since, he is returned to the studies at the University of Fine Arts to Aix en Provence. Currently, he developing an amazing artistic process. He seeking from here and there artefacts found at random, enjoying to recycle them in his works in sumptuous "vétilles", funny and cynical, but often stupid, refraining from any intellectualism masturbation. His works are going a formal simplification, painting is fighting with the volume, objects are struggling, are going outside of the plan. Using increasingly the language in his work, he sets up games grotesque, absurd with the spectator, prompting him to enter further ahead in his work, to break codes of an untouchable and sacred art: the work becomes interactive, proximity better.
